Not Just a Blog Stalker Anymore

For over a year now I have been a blog stalker... at first I was a closet stalker, then I gradually admitted my habit, but was too afraid to start my own blog. I loved the idea of being able to share with our family & friends what was going on in our (mainly Luke's) life, but I have always hated writing and thought I was terrible at it, so my goal is to have a blog full of pictures & videos with a little explanation here and there.

Thanks to my friend, Rachel, for designing my blog, you did an awesome job! She is planning on starting her own blog designing business soon, so click on her name or go under my credits on the sidebar to contact her if you want any design changes to your blog!

Now for my first real post:

We got Luke's baby pool out this week for him to try out for the first time. I thought for sure that he would love it, because he loves the bathtub, but I was very wrong. Every time I put him in the pool he would cry and want out immediately. So, this is what Luke did outside on a hot summer (spring) day instead of cooling off in the pool:

Playing with mommy's cup is much more exciting than splashing in the pool!

Maneuvering my way in & out of the water hose provided
hours (minutes) of entertainment.

The driveway is really dirty, let me sweep it for you.

This is as close to the pool he would get.

After filling up the pool for 2 days, and Luke not wanting anything to do with it, the next day I decided to just fill the pool with toys and of course he got in, sat down and played...wish I had pictures of this, but I didn't have my camera with me.

Yay! Congrats on your first post!!

Those pics of Luke are hilarious - toddlers are so funny like that! They love what you think they'll hate and hate what you think they'll love. Silly kids.

Thanks for the shout out!! It was a really fun project!

I heard he pooped in the bathtub the other day and you freaked out...maybe its a good thing he didnt get in the pool or you might be cleaning poop out of the pool!!!

Anna, he doesn't get in the pool naked, he wears a swim diaper & swim trunks, so it wouldn't be possible for that to happen :) You've got a lot to learn before you have kids ;)

haha touche! But sometimes kids take off their swimswuits and poop (cough cough KATHLEEN in the lake)
