Trash Patrol

A couple of weeks ago Luke was summoned by the trash patrol.

His job description includes alarming mommy anytime he sees something that he thinks doesn't belong on the floor, couch, in his bed, on his hand, etc.

His alarm sounds something like this, "uh-oh!", "trash!", and it's repeated over and over again until mommy or he removes said piece(s) of trash from his sight.

He takes his new job very seriously and will even go as far as sounding the alarm when he's OUTSIDE and sees leaves, sticks, and dirt that he believes are out of place.

Here's Luke on Trash Patrol duty

Disclaimer: Luke does not have his hand down his pants during this entire video!

Ali went through that EXACT same phase!!! It made our walks outside take FOREVER due to all of the "trash" all over the road and side of the road. Gotta hate those leaves.

Weird, aren't they?

How funny! He'd go nuts in my house right now. Somebody needs to vacuum.

So cute!! I can only imagine how busy that keeps you. However, it must be helpful if he finds bugs. I love it when the boys spot the bugs.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this video...and i think this rash fascination was started at the hospital when Aubrey was born and we were in the waiting room. Luke kept spotting an old coke can and saying "daddy's" we said "no trash, yuck" and then everytime he saw something on the floor he would say "trash"
