ABCs & 123s

Luke has been working on counting
and learning the alphabet.

Ryan started teaching him to count by counting each step as they would walk up or down the stairs. Luke picked up on it pretty quickly and now he counts everything from his cars and toys to his food.

The highest he can count is 15, because that's how many steps we have in our house, but 13, 14, & 15
all sound very similar.

We've also been working on our ABC's. He loves to sing along with me or with his electronic alphabet magnet set, but he hasn't quite gotten each individual letter,
many of them run together.

That's great! We have 15 stairs also, and Ali was the exact same way. Now she knows up to 20, and she thinks that numbers only go up to 20.
